Zippitydoodahs are quirky brooches and acessories made from unwanted,or vintage zippers that I have collected, disassembled and made into quirky items. They have even been featured on C4 Cleospace and spotted on an episode of Shortland st! They appeal to a wide variety of people so make a great gift!
Each brooch is handmade, so no two are exactly the same.
Black Cabbage Rose is made out of unloved vislon zips in varying sizes that I have combined to make the most sort after black rose. The centre is made from fine toothed Italian zippers and as the petals get bigger towards the outside the zips get progressively chunkier.I have fashioned the flower petals so they have a real sculptural look.
It is very carefully handstitched together with a brooch pin on the reverse side so you can pin them to your favourite outfits/hat /bag/coat.
Release your inner goth or chanel Classic Channel and add it to that little black dress!
The Black rose brooch is approx. 8cm wide,and is quite lightweight.
I package all my zippitydoodahs very carefully in acid free tissue paper and can gift wrap on request.
