Clem's one of the big guys, he stands (when he wants that is) 35cm tall. Hes got that wonky innocent gaze about him so he shouldn't cause you much trouble. And he's lilac, which should count for something.

FUGS are hand made by me from a combination of new and recycled socks and vintage buttons for eyes, and stuffed with polyester filling. They come with their own brown paper carry-bag with the FUG story and "disclaimer" (Buy at your own risk, maker cant be held responsible for any chaos it wrecks after it leaves my sewing machine etc etc) on it.

They're a perfect gift if you want to give someone something a bit diff from the norm, not mass produced in some overseas country, a gift for someone with a sense of humour, or (like a poor unsuspecting baby) doesn't know any better.

They've been adopted by everyone from babies and kids, to grown-ups and older than grown-ups, and other species (mainly dogs)

Great for Tweens and Teens for whom teddies can be a bit yesterday, and also make great 21st presents.

Being hand stitched by someone who has a fear of needles, they're not perfect, which is part of their charm, and after all - who is perfect?? Isn't that what makes us interesting and frankly great to be around?

It would also be wise to say that even tho we were all brought up on home-made toys with button-eyes and they never did us any harm, it is preferable for the new owner, whatever age or species they are, to refrain from gnawing on their eyes.

The best thing tho, is that they're made right here in New Zealand... Tokomaru actually.
