This is a whimsical double-headed flower, with lovehearts for petals and ladybugs to live on them.

This fanciful flower set has 16 separate magnets!
12 loveheart petals, 1 stem, 1 leave, 2 ladybird halves. This flower stem measures about 35cm tall!

My magnetic sets are designed to be interactive; the flower can change by rearranging the petal hearts, the leaf can be placed anywhere, ladybirds can join to make a super-sized one to perch in the centre of a flower, or separate them to let them crawl up or down the stem... These petal hearts also become elaborate tail feathers for the lovebirds if you have a set of those too. Designed to become a visual narrative...

What is special about these, is that each magnet set is completely unique; guaranteed limited edition. They're tactile and textured, made by hand from offcuts of all sorts of materials... they're made from things that were once very different, and otherwise destined to be thrown away after serving their original purpose.

I started making a series of whimsical characters for our daughter's bedroom wall which we have painted with magnetic paint (very easy to paint!) These have attracted a lot of admirers! The flowers look great on the kitchen fridge... or the dishwasher... or the washing machine.... or the side of the bath... or an oven tray proves a neat magnetic backing for a happy story-telling activity.

They're postage friendly by posting easily in a large envelope for the price of posting a letter locally or internationally.
