Description

This next-to-skin soft yarn has been professionally spun from 40% wool and 40% angora for warmth with 20% nylon added for durability. It has the fuzzy halo typical for yarns spun from angora rabbit hair.

It is handpainted in the colours of sandstone, wood, brick and old frescoes – the colours of Il Campo di Siena. A couple of balls would make an exquisite little scarf or a swish pair of wristlets.

3ply, knit with 3.5-4.5mm needles, 125m/25g.

Suitable for knitting, crocheting and other crafts.


The "small" print:
My hand-dyed wools are non-repeatable runs, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Please hand wash your wool with care. Wool labelled “superwash” you can cold machine wash. I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash your item separately.

I only dye one batch of the same colourway at a time. Each listing will tell you the amount of wool I have in total. If the listing is for 50g and I have 150g in total – but you want 100g – please let me know so I can create a new listing for you.

Keep in mind that (unless calibrated exactly like mine) your monitor will show colours differently.

If you’re not satisfied with your wool you can return it to me in original condition, i. e. with label attached and at your own cost in exchange for a different wool or a refund minus bank fees.
