Fabric-A-Brac’s back in Auckland

Heads up Auckland fabric fiends, Fabric-A-Brac is returning to the city of sails! If you haven’t encountered this great event before, Fabric-A-Brac is all about connecting community treasure troves of fabric and sewing notions to craft and sewing enthusiasts.

This year’s Auckland Fabric-A-Brac event promises plenty of modern and vintage fabric and haberdashery and a showcase of yarn work. There’ll be live music, and the Mercy Hospice fundraiser café will be offering cuppas and delectable treats.

Fabric-A-Brac takes place from 9am – 12.30pm at the St. Columba Centre, 40 Vermont Street, Ponsonby. Admission free and proceeds go to the wonderful work of Mercy Hospice. Check out the Fabric-A-Brac blog as there are more fabulous fabric-rehoming events coming soon to other centres!

  1. Hi Haripriya! Felt’s promoting this event for the good folk at Fabric-A-Brac, but we’re not organising it. To talk to the market organisers, click on the link in the blog text which will take you to their website. You’ll be able to ask them about a stall there. Warm regards, Jo.

  2. Could I have a table this weekend if anything still available. I will display for sale, silk, cotton, and synthetic Indian sari fabric, some are hand embroidered, or hand printed, all are lovely colors and very inspiring for creative ladies who stitch and sew. I need to know the cost of a stall. Thanks
